who the heck am I?
what exactly is "cuci cuci coo" supposed to mean?
The title of this blog is a bilingual play on words that probably nobody will ever get, so I may as well just explain it. The cuci cuci part is up to interpretation, either from CUCIre (sew) and CUCInare (cook) or the command "Sew, sew!" You pronounce cuci "COO-chee," so I added the English coo to make it what you say to babies while tickling them: "Coochie coochie coo!"

What a lovely swap you participated in! The things you got are really lovely and the flat wooden thing is wooden spatula.

Drinks do get mixed up at such events!
ahhh, right! wooden spatula! i knew that. my english is getting worse and worse the longer i stay in italy. yes, i hate getting drinks mixed up and you can't use those little rings to hook on wine glasses on all types of glasses, so these do come in handy!
